Autopage provides multiple controls for this. Firstly, you may specify the the minimum body text depth that text should occupy any page, regardless of how many lines this is. Secondly, control for the number of lines, you require on the last page of a chapter. Autopage can also be asked to make an attemp to complete a job on a left- or right-hand page, providing a means for attempting to alleviate blank pages within a job when chapters are forced to start on turn pages, or spreads.
